My duties working for Urban Rural Design (URD) was to create URD’s project documentation such as RFP’s as well as estimates. Locate existing utilities for future projects, plan as well as coordinate changes and/or addition of work orders with respective personnel. Design and create (2D as well as 3D) plan sets using AutoCad Google Sketch up and  GIS software . Represented URD at meetings with commercial customers, engineering consultants and contractors in reference to assigned projects. Monitor work orders and provided status to supervisor. Contact potential customers to evaluate environmental conditions and/or obtain necessary information for completion of request for new services, perform other duties as required.

 

Navajo Tribal Utility Authority= Ft.Defiance, Arizona

August 2008 – November 2010 (Gas Engineer Tech/Project Manager)

 

My duties as an Engineering Technician/Project Manager is to prepare engineering designs, drafting and conduct feasibility of cost estimates for natural gas lines within the boundaries of the NTUA service area on the Navajo reservation. I’ve worked with I.H.S., BIA, Hopi Tribe and the Navajo Nations entities. Prepared as-built drawings for all gas projects. Created work orders for projects, monitored and closed orders once projects are completed. Conducted survey of proposed or existing facilities. Assists and/or obtain right-or way, archaeological clearances, road crossing, encroachments, permits, business license and permission to survey. Represented NTUA at meetings with commercial customers, engineering consultants and contractors in reference to assigned projects. Monitor work orders and provided status to manger. Worked with other utilities in line location: APS, Frontier, Nations Gas and ADOT. Contact potential customers to evaluate environmental conditions and/or obtain necessary information for completion of request for new service. Perform other duties as required.

 

University Of New Mexico Gallup Branch = Gallup, NM             

August 2006 - May 2008 (Math Tutor)

Through the Fall as well as the Spring semester of 2006-2008 I tutored approximately 1200 students, ranging from college algebra to calculus math. Worked one on one with students on daily basis, improved student’s math scores and knowledge about math content. Perform other office duties as required.
